Z-BEST CARPENTRY

Old School Work Ethic, Tried and True Methods, Superior Technology

Tim Zimmerer was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, where he spent most of his childhood and teenage years taking things apart, putting them back together with minor modifications, and building any and everything for him and his brothers to use.

After taking four years of wood working and framing classes in high school, Tim went to work for a small remodeling and home building contractor. His two mentors taught him every part the intricate process of building–from the footings to the final finish. Tim learned about foundations, framing, siding, roofing, drywall, trim and everything else that goes into a successful project. Most importantly, he learned to do things right from the beginning, and that “hands on” is the only way to productively complete a job.

Twenty-five years later, he is still on the job every day, and now teaching a new generation of contractors. When Tim takes on a job, he and his crew are there from start to finish, involved with and adjusting to customer feedback and providing transparency throughout the project to offer a timely and quality finish.

Tim prides himself on the ability to get projects done well ahead of his customer’s expectations, which allows him to surprise many of his clients with his famous “Shock and Awe.” He can greet families on the job in the morning and by the time they come home from work, an entire framed garage has been built. He loves being able to impress his clients with fast, high-quality work, many instances in half the time of other contractors.
